PHIL COLLINS ANNOUNCES
WORLD TOUR DATES FOR 2004! He will
be doing tours in Europe and North America. According
to Phil's official website "The Phil Collins
'First Final Farewell Tour' will include dates throughout
the world during 2004."
Last year, Phil released his first collection of
all-new solo material for six years with 'Testify,
an album that reunited him with producer Rob Cavallo.
They previously worked together on the award-winning
'Tarzan' soundtrack which won an Oscar, Golden Globe
and Grammy. These 2 projects between them have sold
10 million CDs world wide.
Phil has just done the music for
the new Disney film 'Brother Bear' and is currently
working on a musical version of 'Tarzan' for Broadway.
Phil is making several TV appearances in the USA.
He will be appearing on:

Phil
goes to LA in September to put the Brother Bear
soundtrack to the movie and to work on several foreign
language versions of the soundtrack. He will also
be doing some very long lead time press work for
the album/film.
A
single from the movie soundtrack will be released
in mid to late September and the soundtrack album
will be released in late October.
Work
is also ongoing on remixing several of Phil's studio
albums for surround sound releases.

Phil
Collins, the legendary musician, and Swatch, the
world's leading fashion watchmaker and artistic
canvas for the wrist, will hold a press conference
today to announce a partnership to create two exclusive
watches. Collins' youth charity, The Little Dreams
Foundation, will benefit both in donations and marketing
efforts from the sale of these watches.
On
29th March he is appearing on Verstehen Sie Spass
which will come from Offenburg in Germany.
Phil
will also be inducted into the Songwriters Hall
of Fame at the 34th annual Award and Induction Ceremony
to be held at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New
York City on June 12, 2003.

Collins Donates To Birth Defects Foundation’s
– Newlife Action Charity
Phil
Collins has signed a teddy bear t-shirt (teddy bear
included) which is being auctioned on Ebay for charity.
Newlife
Action, the charity in question, will set up two
special funds. The Research Fund will aim to improve
child health by combating and treating all birth
defects. The Reach Out Fund will directly help individual
affected children and families in the UK. For more

April 14th sees Sanctuary Visual Entertainment's
European DVD release of "A Life Less Ordinary"
the BBC documentary about Phil's life and career.
Originally broadcast on the BBC back in November
2002, the DVD version of "A Life Less Ordinary"
will also include an hour of additional, never-before-seen
interview footage with Phil himself, colleagues,
and friends. The DVD will be also released by Sanctuary
in America shortly afterwards.

Phil Collins is game to give fans something they'd
like to see: some kind of Genesis reunion. The former
singer and drummer of the British band told LAUNCH
he's up for recording or a performance, so it's
really up to the other musicians in the famous group.
"The
only thing that rules out a Genesis reunion is what
the other members of Genesis want to do," Collins
said. "I've talked to Tony [Banks] and Mike
[Rutherford] about maybe we should never rule out
doing something together again, either as Genesis
or as just three writers, writing together. To me,
the most, interesting possibility is the original
five of us getting back together."That original
five would feature the lineup that recorded classic
1970s Genesis albums that include Selling England
By The Pound and The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway:
Collins, keyboardist Banks, bassist/guitarist Rutherford,
guitarist Steve Hackett, and original vocalist Peter
Gabriel.
Collins
told LAUNCH Gabriel may be the most hesitant to
engage in a reunion, though he disagrees with Gabriel's
perspective.
"Depending
on who you talk to, you get a varying amount of
enthusiasm," Collins added. "Now I think
Peter, who I've read is, you know, has said, 'It's
taken me 25 years to get rid of the ex-Genesis singer
stigma,' he probably doesn't want to go back into
it. And I kind of think that's a little off-center
thinking, because, you do it as a one-off, you know,
I don't see it as career-threatening."
