More than 90 years ago, Edgar Rice Burroughs introduced Tarzan to the world in the October 1912 issue of All Story Magazine. The character was an instant sensation. Since then, he has been featured in 26 authorized novels and more than 44 motion pictures. Now Disney brings Tarzan to the Broadway stage.

For the Broadway adaptation of the animated film TARZAN (itself a version of Edgar Rice Burroughs's renowned story), Disney incorporated pop performer Phil Collins's lively compositions from the movie, along with stage-specific numbers such as "No Other Way" (performed by the deep-voiced theater veteran Shuler Hensley in the role of Kerchak). With three different actors playing the vine-swinging Tarzan at various ages and a large supporting ensemble, the recording is energetic and dynamic, and is further enhanced by the gentle "Everything That I Am," a previously unreleased studio number by Collins.
